There's a lovely cosiness to this house. We think it's thanks to lots of natural pine woodwork, and the warm tiling. We like the light, too - cleverly positioned windows take it right through the four downstairs rooms. And we wish we could take the wood-burning stove with us.
Upstairs surprised us; the middle floor feels expansive, and the top floor is a tiny maze of rooms. We have work space, guest space and some storage up there. It was intelligently done by the previous owner. For us it's been a busy, family-friendly house which has both brought us together and given us personal space. Work and schools have moved though, and we need to pass the house on to a good home!
