Property description
This stunning period home has been restored and improved by the owners over the years.
There is stripped and polished flooring in both reception rooms and a charming open fire in the dining room that really sets the scene in such a cosy atmosphere.
A sensible renovation of the cellar has made that space into a great functional room. It could make an ideal study, playroom or even an emergency guest bedroom!
The white units in the kitchen give a crisp and modern feel and the work tops allow ample room to test your culinary skills.
St Marys Road is in a good, central position literally yards from the station where you can catch rail connections to London so for a commuter you can be in London in around an hour.
You can also stroll into town easily from here where an array of shops and stores, including various banks and supermarkets are on hand. To blow away the cobwebs, walk a little further to take in the fresh air and scenery of Faversham Creek.
A delightful period cottage like this is sure to be popular so do not miss your chance to have a look around.
What the Owner says:
For many years, with our main home in the States, this house has always been our "piece of England" and we have tried our best to keep to the tradition of the building.
The garden is a great size. We have kept the design simple as we are often busy but it is a real sun trap on summer days.
We have converted the cellar - it doubles as a TV room for us and is warm and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer.
