Property description

Whatever the preconceived ideas of an apartment are they need to be thrown away because this conversion apartment is larger than a lot of houses!

Set within a very short walk of schooling, the town centre and mainline train station is this vast home which will blow you away with the space on offer throughout. Not to mention the high ceilings, period fixtures and original pine doors.

A grand lounge with a feature corner window allowing the best view is where most of the time will be spent. A roaring open fire takes centre stage although the original floorboards come a close second.

Entertainers will be impressed with the kitchen/breakfast room. Plenty of natural light is allowed to flood in through a large window. As well as all the units a 'proper' sized dining table does not feel out of place in the slightest.

An inner hallway leads to the bedrooms. A huge storage cupboard is arguably the size of a conventional garage. The three bedrooms are all comfortable doubles. Bedroom one has fitted wardrobes and if one needed to be a study then there's plenty of natural light in each room.

The bathroom was recently re-fitted and will leave you invigorated for the day ahead.

The communal gardens are well maintained and there is plenty of outside space to utilise. Off road parking comes courtesy of a car park, located off Laurel Dene. This is linked by a footpath.

What the Owner says:

Compared to other properties I was looking at as a first time buyer this apartment seemed very large. I had to have it!
As it was a conversion I was able to pick the layout to suit my needs.
Since moving in 20 years ago I have changed quite a bit internally: adding double glazing, having cavity wall insulation, re-fitted the bathroom and decorated throughout.
The communal gardens are expansive and as they span the building you rarely see any other residents.
We've been incredibly lucky to live here. We can walk to town, the schools and the train station.
