I bought this apartment as a second home and the initial attraction was the ability to lock up and leave. There is no maintenance as it is fairly new - around 7 years old and it is very easy to heat.
It is also so close to the town so it's easy to enjoy the restaurants, the cinema and the sports centre in a matter of minutes. I often used to leave the car behind and arrive by train as everything I needed was within walking distance.
One of the reasons I chose this apartment over the others that I looked at is that most of the rooms have views over the communal areas - much more tranquil and calming that looking over a car park!
I am now looking to live in Dorking on a permanent basis so I am looking to sell this apartment and buy a house.
