DEPOSIT A dilapidations deposit equivalent to one month’s rent is payable by cleared funds on or before the tenancy commencement date.

FEES: An application to rent this property should be accompanied by a holding fee of £30 per person (including VAT) which will secure the property, subject to contract and subject to the provisional approval of the landlord, while appropriate references are obtained. If the tenancy goes ahead, the holding fee will form part of our tenancy fee; however, should the tenancy not go ahead due to adverse references or due to the prospective tenant(s) changing their mind, the holding fee will be forfeited in order to cover our costs. If the tenancy is to go ahead, a tenancy fee of 30% of one month’s rent plus VAT at the rate applicable will become payable (of which £30 per person will have already been paid - see above), along with the first month’s rent (or occasionally more, by agreement) and the full dilapidations deposit. Payment can be made by internet payment, cash or cheque (payable to Haigh & Sons), but please bear in mind that the total of these amounts must be cleared prior to the commencement date of the tenancy.
