Western Ferries also carries a direct bus service from Dunoon to Glasgow run by McGills. Dunoon is approximately one hour from Glasgow Airport. Dunoon has a secondary school, a modern leisure centre, an eighteen-hole golf course, two supermarkets, a variety of individual shops, restaurants and a cinema.
