Here at James Du Pavey, we love a beautifully refurbished period home and we haven't been let down with this one! Built in the 1930s, this three bedroom semi-detached property sits boldly in an elevated position, close to the town centre. The current owners have improved the interior to create a space that is ideal for the modern family yet have retained all important character by keeping features such as the original interior doors. The hall has been opened up into a welcoming space and the lounge, with its large bay window is bright and homely with quality oak flooring and a chimney breast having an alcove and slate hearth for a log burner. The breakfast kitchen is stylish and with a country twist, having units painted in a fashionable willow green with granite effect work surfaces and integrated appliances. On the first floor are three bedrooms; two with fitted wardrobes and the third featuring real oak flooring. The family bathroom has been fitted with a modern white suite and has a luxury feel with full height polished travertine style tiling to the walls and complementary flooring. A patio door has been installed in the kitchen to access the large rear garden which has been landscaped with a sandstone paved patio area and a decorative brick wall separates the lawn that features planted borders, garden shed, plenty of space for a vegetable patch and a purpose built chicken pen, painted to match the fencing in stylish green.
