Property description
If you have ever heard the phrase 'don't judge a book by its cover' it has never been more poignant than here. This beautiful home simply should not be judged by its humble external appearance. The road is a true gem, with a fine mix of family homes, curious cottages and even an old mill!
The moment you enter, the space on offer here is clear. Where you would expect a tiny 1930's kitchen, instead you will find a large open plan lounge and dining area with splendid views out to the large sun-drenched garden. The awning above the patio doors is testament to its sunnyness, offering shelter to the patio. The garden is a rhapsody of colour and wildlife, perfect to spend many Sunday's pottering and enjoying family life.
We hear everyone shout "location" as you are close to some outstanding schools, both secondary and primary, a vast selection of pubs and restaurants and close to the ever popular Westcroft Leisure Centre with its newly modernised state of the art gym and super teaching swimming pool.
Upstairs doesn't disappoint, it has three huge bedrooms, not expected in a 1930's house. The house has been extended with flair and attention to detail and overall is in good order, but still has scope for a family to add value and their own mark.

The main draw to this house was the location. We adored the fact that you could get to so many amazing shopping locations; the house is close to Croydon, Sutton and Carshalton, so we never get bored. Not needing the schools, we soon found out that we had bought into a brilliant school hot spot here. We are constantly getting notes through the door with people wanting to buy the house to get their children into the local schools.
The biggest selling point for me though was the garden, it's just magical. It really is a riot of colour through the year. Having a proper wall that can be made a feature is wonderful. The history that surrounds the road is brilliant. Nice to have old and new living hand in hand.
