Property description
You can't help but admire this a beautiful 19th century cottage. You really will fall in love with it as you approach. The beautiful sandstone frontage and quaint cottage windows are just a few of the characterful features that this home possesses.
Before you even enter the front door, you get a real sense of the scope of what is on offer here, the large front plot with the lengthy drive is just the start. The cottage also boasts a triple garage and plenty of room all around the sides, all of this means it sits comfortably back and well secluded from other houses nearby.
The large expanse to the front combined with the fantastic rear garden means the whole plot is 0.304 of an acre. The picturesque garden looks out over a sprawl of fields, with lovely vibrant colours and wildlife all around.
The house itself is gorgeous with plenty to offer, with wooden beamed ceilings and original fireplaces, you can't help but love everything about it. There is however still scope for improvement as the current owners have approved plans for extension all around to really turn this into an even more remarkable property.
You could easily miss the entrance to this house as it sits removed and in the corner of a quiet road creating a nice, secure feeling.
What the Owner says:
When we first came here, there were so many reasons why we fell in love with the house, to be honest we knew it was for us as soon as we pulled up.
The character appealed to us straight away and the location was beyond perfect. Crowborough High Street is not too far away with its independent shops and grocers. A very short walk up the road lies a charming country pub which serves good food and cold beer. Meanwhile, a short trip down the road in the other direction will take you to the Ashdown Forest, with its abundance of great walks, stunning scenery and attractive little tea rooms.
