Property description
On a cold winters day warm yourself up by the log burning fireplace whilst overlooking the large landscaped gardens. If you have friends and family to come and visit and stay over, there is so much space to spread out and enjoy. The lounge area and attached dining area are perfect to entertain guests whilst the kitchen, with its 'Range' cooker will be ideal to prepare your meals.
When you would like a little bit of peace and quiet the cosy sitting room is a great place to unwind and maybe read your favourite book. Upstairs you will be greeted by a light and spacious galleried landing. Upon entering the master bedroom the theme continues with walk-in wardrobes and an en-suite cloakroom.
This house is absolutely ideal for a growing family but its not just the accommodation you will have to look forward to! Just a short walk away you can be at the picturesque riverside village of Upnor where you can watch the boats sail up and down on the river and see the historic buildings of Upnor Castle along the Saxon Shore Way. If you need to be close to amenities, the village of Hoo with its range of shops, supermarkets, cafes and schools is within a mile and just a few minutes by car you reach the M2 motorway giving you access to London or the Kent coast.
What the Owner says:
We were immediately taken aback by the size of the accommodation, it has been perfect for us and our family.
We have made several improvements over the years including updating the utility room with new units and installing a new gas boiler in 2013. Our home offers lots of storage with several walk-in cupboards and wardrobes. One of our favourite additions is the log burning fireplace which not only radiates heat out into the lounge but also upstairs. We have the best of both worlds here, being close to everything that we need and having countryside on our doorstep, making it ideal for dog walking and enjoying the outdoor life. We have made some changes in the garden with an Indian sandstone patio and also the addition of a summer house to the rear.
