Property description
All this charm and character all in one place.
This Victorian home comes with high ceilings, traditional skirting boards and cosy living areas. It also has the potential to extend, if need, subject to planning permission (STPP). On the other hand, you can just convert the cellar into either a games room or home cinema, just a few which spring to mind.
The location is pretty handy, especially for commuters as all you need to do is take a short stroll and the platform is in sight, 45 minutes to an hour later you are in London getting ready for your day ahead.
If you have children then Balfour School around the corner is perfect, it is also quite a popular one with a huge demand so you are right in the catchment.
Internally the decor does require some updating, so a great opportunity for you to add your own personal touch.
Watch your children run around in the child friendly rear garden with their friends. On the other hand they could enjoy the nice play area in the park at the end of the road.
What the Owner says:
It's been a great home, well built with good character and curb appeal is one way of describing it.
Sixteen years seems to be a long time, but it has flown by and I wouldn't change a thing. The neighbours are all quite friendly and polite along here which is fantastic. In addition to that the road is really quite too so no real traffic noise to worry about.
Having a school on my doorstep is handy especially when the boys were growing up. At least it meant the school run was relatively straight forward. It is such a central location with great access to all amenities. We really do hope the new buyers will enjoy it and stay even longer than I have.
