Property description

Attention all first time buyers! If you’re looking for something in great condition that you can move straight into – then you must certainly have a look at this. The owners here have re-modernised this property so that you can move your furniture in.

There’s a lovely kitchen, a lovely shower room and lots more to see besides. You can just imagine relaxing on the sofa to watch TV or cooking the evening meal in the kitchen.

Apart from the house there’s also a really lovely garden which is of a very good size. You might like to enjoy this as it is, or you could envisage the potential that there might be able to extend here, subject to the necessary planning being obtainable. There’s the all-important driveway and garage, which provide off road parking too.

If you like countryside walks then you should love living here too. Walk to the top of the road and you are looking out over The Downs. Chartham is surround by beautiful countryside and has lots on offer such as a village hall, beautiful village church, train station and lots more besides.

What the Owner says:

We chose this house because we loved the location. It’s right on the edge of The Downs here and it’s very quiet. We have only been here since last year and in that time we have re-modernised the property. We have replaced the kitchen, shower room, installed central heating, re-decorated and added new floor coverings. It’s ready for a new buyer to just move straight in. We love looking out onto the garden. The garden is surprisingly big and feels quite private. It really is a lovely cosy house now. We would recommend the village as it’s really well served with a train station, bus service, a couple of shops along Shalmsford Street and two local pubs too.
