After forming in 1991, with the very first office opening in Enfield Town, Kings Group are now in their 24th year!
Successful expansion over a 24 year period has seen the number of trading locations grow to 10 Sales Offices and 9 Lettings offices, with an additional 4 Franchised Offices, offering both Sales and Lettings. The group now employs in excess of 150 staff.
In addition to the traditional Estate Agency, we have several more aspects to the Group, which include surveying through Metropolis Surveyors, Property Management and Thomas Oliver UK LLP, a Wealth Management company.
Our primary and most principled philosophy is very simple. It is to ensure that we provide the best possible service to our clients, whether they are a Corporate Client such as a Major Lender or someone who wants to sell, rent, buy or let through the help of our services. We achieve this by employing hard working, professional and enthusiastic staff throughout the entire business who understand that you, as our client, are the most important person.
Our offices are set up to deal with all aspects of buying and selling, letting and renting, whilst making sure that all of our clients are well helped and advised during every stage of the process.
We employ fully qualified and highly trained Mortgage Brokers in all of our offices, who, fortunately for us, have access to a panel of lenders representative of the whole mortgage market. We are able to advise on mortgages, protection and general insurance and are more than happy to meet face to face in order to openly discuss your needs and requirements. If you need more in-depth advice in relation to pensions or investments, Financial Advisers from Thomas Oliver are easily at hand to provide these services for you, should you need them.
In addition to the normal Estate Agency services we have Kings Conveyancing, who provide unparalleled legal services for vendors and buyers with up-to-date technology with 24 Hour Case Tracking so that you know exactly where we are up to in relation with your transaction. Our Conveyancing advisers are on hand until 10pm most week day evenings, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. They exist solely for the exclusive use of Kings Clients.
It is fair to say that over the 20 years that Kings have been operating, the world has changed a lot and technology has had to become a major theme in the majority of businesses worldwide. Instead of shying away from this, Kings have embraced it to the full. We have links to all the major property portals so we can ensure that we achieve the best marketing exposure for our clients’ properties, be it for sale or rent. On the contrary, we have held true to our foundations and still keep aspects of operating in a traditional way by advertising extensively in full colour in the local newspapers, with double page spreads to enhance the profile of the properties that we are marketing. That, coupled with our distinctive boards and brand image, ensures the achievement of maximum awareness around the areas in which we operate.
We are constantly monitoring where we figure in the local estate agent rankings, which are carried out by independent rating companies, to make sure we are consistently ranked highly.
Market conditions have seen some dramatic changes over the years but we have been able to adapt as a business to changing conditions in order to ensure that we are still able to deliver service that we are proud of. We maintain our professional standards and a happy working relationship with our clients.
Since the beginning of 2007, we have opened 4 franchises and our newest office in Hackney, whereas many agents have closed or have had to drastically reduced their operations.
The coming months will see Kings Group expand even further with additional offices opening in the New Year. This will see us capitalise on the business we have built in North and East London, Essex and Hertfordshire, which will further cement Kings as one of the UK’s largest independent agents.
