Property description
THE PROPERTY The property is wonderfully bright throughout and is entered through a stable door into a hallway with stone flooring, which in turn gains access to the sitting room and kitchen/dining room. The sitting room features two windows to the front and solid wood flooring, whilst a delightful wood burning stove creates a characterful focal point within the room.
Following through, the kitchen/dining room is smartly presented and features stone flooring with under floor heating. A range of units with granite worksurfaces are fitted, which integrate a dishwasher, refrigerator, hob and an Aga. A stunning glass atrium is a fantastic addition, with full length windows & sliding doors to the rear, creating ample space for a dining table.
Situated on the first floor are both bedrooms and the bathroom. The bedrooms are good sized doubles, with bedroom one particularly benefiting from plentiful storage. Both rooms boast wonderful countryside views and exposed floor boards.
The bathroom is fully tiled and fitted with a matching white suite including a separate shower cubicle, bath, low level WC and a vanity unit with inset wash hand basin.
Outside, a particular feature of the property is the detached annexe to the rear. Located upon a raised patio, the annexe, with triple bi-folding doors and under floor heating, is currently separated into two. One side provides the opportunity to create a self-contained studio, as also located here are a shower room and a small utility room with plumbing and space for appliances. Alternatively, this area could be an extension to the property and be utilised as a more formal dining or entertainment area. On the left hand side of the annexe is a fantastic workshop or home office which is serviced with power and light.
To the front of the property lies a mature flat garden with lawn and a range of shrubs and trees a perfect sunny spot to take in the surrounding views. Additionally, just beyond the garden is a vegetable patch.
