I have loved living here as it is in the middle of everything. I come out of the front door and I have 3 choices, go one way into Ramsgate, the other further into Broadstairs or the alley way shortcuts down towards the beach.
For those who aren't too keen on walking or don't drive, you can get the bus at the nearby stop, which is very close by. There is even a convenient store just as close which is great if you run out of milk or want to grab a morning paper.
