Property description

You could say that this is a slightly unusual house in the fact that it used to be a bungalow and has been transformed and almost doubled in size by becoming a two storey house.

There are lots of lovely features that have been included by the current owners and the thought process behind this development is clear to see. Solid wood parquet flooring adorns many of the downstairs rooms and most of the internal doors are solid oak. The kitchen is modern and stylish and easily accommodates a dining table, whilst a separate dining room is perfect for more formal occasions, or that all important Christmas dinner when all the family get together. The lounge, like the kitchen, overlooks the rear garden which drops away from you and extends to almost 100 foot.

Back inside and the upstairs is as good as the rest of the house. A large window on the landing allows the light to flood in with Skylight windows working well for the back bedrooms and the view from the back of the house looking out over farmland to the Downs beyond. All the bedrooms are a good size with two of them having en-suites and the main bedroom also having a dressing area, which is a perfect room for mum and dad.

If a good size family home in a superb village setting is what you’re looking for than this could well be the home for you.

What the Owner says:

Before we found this property we were looking for years. We struggled to find exactly what we wanted so decided to buy a bungalow and create our own home. We love this village and the school is one of the best in the area. There’s always something to do in the village and the children have plenty of clubs to attend.

The house that we’ve created has lots of space and the rooms are all a good size. We’ve tried to finish things off properly in a way that we were happy with, but there are lots of things that anyone could change if they want to.
