Property description

NO CHAIN! A highly individual end terrace period cottage with lots of POTENTIAL. The FLEXIBLE accommodation includes 3 bedrooms, potential for shop front (STP), character lounge, dining room + snug and a good sized garden! The thatch to front has also been replaced recently.

Located in the heart of this Mid-Devon village, with the well regarded primary school and recently built doctors surgery within walking distance, this individual end cottage offer masses of potential in the right hands with large accommodation and potentially a shop front (subject to permissions) if desired.

The largely thatched grade 2 listed cottage has flexible and sizable accommodation, with potentially 3 bedrooms and 3 reception rooms, depending on how it works for the next owner. The living room is lovely with a large stone built fireplace housing a woodburner and exposed ceiling beams, which leads to the dining room, snug and kitchen.

The property benefits from solar panels which heat the water (together with the woodburner in the living room).

Outside the property has 2 main areas, an initial courtyard ideal for outside dining, with a gate through to a good sized enclosed and private garden, that has the potential for someone to create a lovely vegetable plot and lawned area.

Although needing improvement, this property has a lot of space for the money and as previously said, offers great potential in the right hands.

DIRECTIONS: From Crediton, take the A377 road to Copplestone. Fork left in the village onto the A3072 as signed to Bow. Proceed into Bow, and Hillside will be seen on the left hand side just before the cross roads in the centre of the village. Parking is usually readily available in the car park which is on your right, just before you reach the cottage.

BOW is a parish and village on the River Yeo approximately 8 miles from Crediton, on the road to Okehampton. A unique feature of the village is the very high raised pavement running down one side of the main street.  There is an inn, an excellent primary school, village hall and Co-op mini supermarket.
