Property description

A substantial family home welcomes you through its front door as you ascend its steps. It was built in 1999 by Hill Reed Homes to a very high standard and with very well proportioned accommodation, which is spread over three floors and has proved to be very versatile to the current owners.

A wash room on each floor will mean the end to queuing in the morning rush. With four good sized bedrooms is sure to suit any growing family, a family that will make good use of the kitchen/breakfast room and the separate utility room.

The landscaped rear garden is staggered to three levels. The first as you step out is decked, the second is grassed and the final level is gravelled. The garden is well secluded from the neighbours by hedging and because of its elevated position it provides a pretty roof top view across the village.

There is an integral garage with an extremely high roof, which could be used for additional storage space, in front of the garage you have driveway parking for guests to use.

It is only a short walk into the heart of the village, where you will find schools, shops, pubs, restaurants and the mainline railway station. Also close at hand are the spectacular South Downs.

What the Owner says:

We have been VERY happy since we moved here from just around the corner in 2010. We moved here to be closer to The Weald School for our son to be able to walk in on his own. We are moving as we have both retired and want to re-locate to Devon.

We have considered knocking through from the kitchen into the dining room to create a big kitchen/breakfast room. It would be such a lovely family space to enjoy and entertain in.

We liked the garden because of the difference levels. It has been easy to maintain and we have enjoyed the sun trap the garden provides.
