Battersea Power Station is Grade II listed building and one of the best known landmarks in London. The residential parts of the Power Station building are divided into 3 distinct parts which are to be known as Switch House West, Switch House East and Boiler House Square).

Phase 2 comprises the original Power Station building itself and the land immediately surrounding the building. The building will be repaired and refurbished with new additions and will include residential accommodation (some of which will have their own outside space which the tenant will be granted exclusive rights to use as well as benefiting from communal gardens) above commercial, cultural, leisure and retail space with basement parking beneath and associated public realm. The residential part of the Development comprises 255 residential apartments.
