The Location
Barmouth at the south west corner of the Snowdonia National Park has a resident population of just over 2,500 but has facilities that many larger towns would be envious of. Its location at the mouth of the Mawddach estuary is one of Wales most spectacular locations. There are miles of sandy beaches and the area is well known for sailing, mountaineering, bird spotting, castles and of course Welsh railways. The town is well served by rail and it is the nearest Welsh coastal resort to the Midlands.
- Excellent facilities on doorstep
- Town centre location
- Good road and rail connections
