We were really struggling to find a flat within our budget, which was not above shops. The thought of living above a restaurant with all the evening kitchen noise and smells, was something we were very determined to avoid but it seemed to be the only things we were seeing on the market.

As soon as we drove up this no-through road, we both looked at each other in excitement. It was just the kind of area we had been looking for and we both knew we were finally in the right place.

We love being on the top floor and enjoy the views in particular. On Fireworks night and New Year we get to see the displays all over London.
