I used to live in Uckfield so had a lot of friends there so being close was important but I also wanted to be closer to my son who lives in East Grinstead and my work. Considering the other properties that were available this seemed larger and had a beautiful private garden, which many converted apartments didn't have. The view and the setting here is ideal, it’s always so quiet. The village itself has a variety of local shops from butchers to convenience stores and there is always something going on to cater for people of all ages.
I'll miss the garden space, I have enjoyed many evenings sitting out and watching the sun set however with two Grandchildren I now need to find somewhere bigger to accommodate them.
