It certainly is nice to have everything on your doorstep. Without the need for a car you can easily walk to the station to catch that train to work and your toast will still be warm when your stepping off the platform!! If you think that the station is close wait till you need to go to town…. It’s at the end of the road. It’s difficult to find an excuse not to visit the local department store or grab a coffee from one of the many cafe nearby.

Once inside this delightful cottage you can close off the outside world and immerse yourself in pure ‘cosiness’. Neutral colours adorn the walls whilst the smell of the new carpets still lingers. The open plan lounge and dining area is a wonderful space for entertaining and the kitchen area is just off the dining area so you won’t be far away from your guests when preparing dinner.

The back garden catches the best of the summer sun and with no grass to maintain you’ll get even more time. An added advantage to this cottage is the fact that it has its own driveway to the rear. Parking in this area could be considered a real commodity and having parking for potentially two cars is a big bonus.

Back inside the luxury continues upstairs. The bathroom is spacious and stylish and perfect for a nice relaxing soak after a long day, you could even push the boat out and go for candles and a bottle of wine. Both bedrooms are a good size and the main bedroom has a wealth of fitted furniture, you could literally move straight in!!

What the Owner says:

We saw the house two years ago and it certainly was the best of the bunch. It was in fantastic condition and the street not only looks good, but it’s so close to the town centre and the station we would have been foolish not to buy it.

We had the cottage rented out so before putting it onto the market and we wanted to make sure that it was ready for a new owner. The rear fence and gates have been replaced and repaired. There’s a new hot water tank in the bathroom and new carpets throughout. We’ve also redecorated and replaced some of the double glazing.
