Property description
Situation on a beautiful tree lined street, this wonderful family home awaits your arrival. As soon as you walk through the door your feel instantly at home. This spacious property has a real cottage feel where you can image spending many evenings by the roaring fire with friends and family.
With period features a plenty, enjoy the aesthetically pleasurable original Victorian floorboards and 1930’s fireplace, you really can enjoy all of the different seasons in this house. Relax and curl up in front of the open fire when the winter draws in. Enjoy a Sunday roast you've just prepared in the modern, well laid out kitchen.
In the warmer, summer months, the garden will double up as another room for the children. Family and friends could enjoy a barbecue amongst the mature shrubs in the sunny rear garden. If you love gardening there is even plenty of space for growing vegetables.
There is easy access to Brighton’s city centre via one of the many local buses, or even jump on your bike as it’s only just over a mile to cycle. Sainsbury’s is also just across the road and there are lots of local shops and cafes on the Lewes Road.
Being on a one way street means the road is very quiet. So don’t wait to book a viewing on this glorious home as it’s definitely going to appeal to a wide audience.
What the Owner says:
After fifteen incredibly happy years bringing up my family in this warm and friendly community, it is time to down size and move on. This house has been a haven for us and our friends. It is warm and cosy in winter, light and sunny in summer. The garden has given us years of fabulous flowers, bees, fruit and vegetables and I shall really miss lying out in the sun on the grass reading and listening to the seagulls.
We are fifteen minutes’ walk from town and are in the catchment area for two of Brighton’s best secondary schools. I really love this house, from the kitchen/living space which was renovated seven years ago to the loft which I had built when we moved in, and I hope whoever lives here after us will love it as much as we have done.
