Property description
In the rural, pretty village of Grafty Green, with its traditional country pub and local post office, resides this vast home. The sheer amount of flexible living space on offer, means this home could be all things to all people. The huge L-shaped sitting and dining area creates a sociable atmosphere, and the oak flooring throughout coupled with the stylish, chic decor, means entertaining will always be a pleasure. In the centre of the house, food connoisseurs will adore the large kitchen/breakfast room, with its high quality modern units and granite work tops. Three additional reception rooms allow for all sorts of circumstances, including a gym, a TV room, or a home office. If needed, part of the house can easily be converted into an annexe - the second downstairs shower room, additional kitchen and 2 downstairs bedrooms make the conversion simple. Unlike many family homes, all of the bedrooms have space for a double bed, as well as plenty of room for storage. The neutral decor and high quality finish continues throughout, so still no need for a tin of paint. Buyers wanting luxury will be drawn in by the master suite. The addition of the secret dressing room and en-suite creates an air of opulence, and allows the bedroom to remain uncluttered - ideal for a good nights sleep. The private garden is a safe haven for active children, or can provide the perfect backdrop for a family barbecue. At the end of a long day, if you're too tired to cook, head to the local pub, just a short walk away for a Sunday lunch, and pick up a paper from the local shop on the way back!
What the Owner says:
When we first viewed this house, the sheer size and space on offer totally blew us away. In theory, each of the children could have their own living area and still leave somewhere for us to relax ourselves! The garden is an ideal size for our lifestyle, as there is always plenty of room for the children to play football. The previous owners used part of the house as an annexe, which is easy to reinstate should someone wish to - all you need to do is lock a door! We've redecorated through out, so the new buyers can take advantage of being able to move straight in. We love our home dearly, which we hope can be seen in the care and attention to detail, but now our priorities have changed and it's time to move on.
