Property description
This home is set upon the hillside not too far from Hythe's bustling town centre, so you can pop into town at your leisure for either your shopping or just to grab a cake and coffee at one of the bistros. With a footpath to the rear which leads past Saltwood Castle towards the village, you can also enjoy countryside walks.
After coming home from your walk you can take your shoes off in the large tiled floor entrance hall, before settling down in front of the log burner in the lounge area, where you can listen to the logs crackling away whilst you warm your toes. The open aspect of the lounge and dining areas makes this a great family space to enjoy, whether you are helping the children with their homework or just relaxing on the sofa to watch a movie.
Every family home needs a good kitchen and this home certainly has it. The kitchen/breakfast area is spacious with plenty of work surface and there is a breakfast bar where you can chat to the children over their cornflakes or simply catch up with friends over a coffee.
The garden is large and arranged over three levels, giving you the opportunity to live the "Good Life" as there is room for a chicken run and a vegetable plot. You can imagine yourselves sat on the patio under the pergola, looking down the stairs to admire the fruits of your labour, or to simply watch the children play.
What the Owner says:
We first saw this house in the summer of 2002. We decided to buy it the moment we saw the sun stream in through the patio doors and since moving in we have made it our own.
We have loved living here as we enjoy going for long walks with our children and our dog, either along the seafront, the canal or through the fields. We also love sitting in our garden, as we get the sun for most of the day until it sets on the patio.
We are only moving as we now need a larger home, however before we made the decision to move we drew up plans for an extension and planning was granted this year. We have a copy of the plans available for you to look at when you come to view.
