Property description
Allwood House is a substantial, detached family home of immense character and charm, set within approximately 1.5 acres of grounds in a slightly elevated position with views towards the river Avon. It is understood that the original portion of the property is of 18th Century origin with two later 1970s two storey extensions. The accommodation offers, on the ground floor, a fine drawing room with fireplace and wood burning stove, dining room with inglenook fireplace (presently sealed), study area and a large refitted farmhouse style kitchen/breakfast room. There is also a utility room, cloakroom off the entrance hall and a useful walk in store in the corner of the drawing room. The first floor boasts a master bedroom suite, four further bedrooms (three double) and a luxurious family bathroom. Central heating is provided by an oil fired boiler to radiators and there is some double glazing. The property is approached via a sweeping gravel drive with access to a detached double garage, detached single garage and a stable block with three loose boxes. The gardens extend predominantly to the front and side of the house and are laid mainly to lawn with a number of specimen shrubs.

Continue to the Countess roundabout and continue straight across following the A345 towards Durrington. At the next roundabout continue across still following the A345 continuing towards Upavon. Follow the road for approximately 5 miles to the village of Enford. Upon reaching the village, the bus stop will be seen on the left hand side with signpost off the A345 towards Enford to the right.
