If you like a little gentle exercise, we are only about a minute’s walk from the Birchington Bowls Club and tennis courts and just two minutes’ walk from the seafront at Beresford Bay – home of the Beresford Waterski Club where members can launch their speed boats. We have stunning scenery, wonderful sunsets, rocky outcrops and miles of shoreline stretching as far as the eye can see, 15 sandy beaches from Pegwell Bay in the south to Minnis Bay in the north of Thanet – these cannot be bettered anywhere in the country; our beaches have more Blue Flag and seaside awards than anywhere else in the UK. We are less than a quarter of a mile to Birchington town centre with its variety of individual shops, restaurants and pubs as well as supermarkets (Sainsbury & Co-op) for our everyday needs. There is a regular bus service to Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Canterbury whilst the high-speed trains have an hourly service to St. Pancras in one hour 27 minutes.
