Property description
Bromley Green Road lies to the South of Ashford heading down towards the village of Hamstreet and the Marsh. The road is well known for its individual style of properties.
This lovely home is set back from the road by a long gravel drive, there’ll certainly be no issues with parking. The large, open entrance hall is a wonderful feature of this home with the stairs sweeping down from the first floor. There’s even enough room for a sofa!
Each of the rooms downstairs are a good size and a number of rooms can be used for difference uses, whether it be a playroom or study or dining room or another bedroom. The lounge houses a log burner which generates enough heat to warm most of the house as well as creates a lovely focal point for the family to gather round on long winter evenings.
Upstairs, 5 bedrooms provide enough sleeping options for even the largest of families and while the main bathroom facilitates the family, mum and dad get the use of their very own en-suite with its own bath.
As with most homes on the road the large garden stretches out towards the ancient woodland. There’s a patio area where you can entertain and a lawn that the children will love. There’s also a workshop at the end of the garden which the current owners have used as a business premises.
What the Owner says:
We’d seen other house in the area but most of them were new builds or on modern developments which is fine, but not quite what we were after so when this became available we went for it.
It needed some work but we were able to put our own stamp on it and the workshop out the back meant that we could run our business from home.
Our children are at School in Hamstreet which is just down the road and only doesn't take long to get there in the car and Ashford itself is not far away in the other direction.
The house has been completed renovated both inside and out so anybody can move straight in. All the rooms are a great size and the children love the garden no matter what the weather is doing!
