We bought this barn when it was derelict in 1989 and have pretty much rebuilt the whole thing but keeping the character, charm and features. The barn is not listed which is such a positive because we have freedom to change and extend but the property still has the beauty of an older style home. We recently changed the driveway location allowing easier access to and from the main road it certainly looks very impressive and brings you into the grounds facing the property to give that all important striking first impression. We have raised our family here but as the children move on it is such a huge home for just the two of us we feel it is time to hand over the reigns to a new family and hopefully they will have as much fun and as many lovely memories as we have had.
