Property description
When you walk into the lounge for the first time you will be immediately drawn to the double glazed windows, which open onto your own private balcony. From here you have roof top views, with sea views in the distance.
If you have ever struggled to fall asleep at night, then bedroom 1 with its own private balcony should have a cure for that. The owners have told me that during the summer months they quite often leave the door open onto the balcony so that they can listen to the waves breaking on the beach.
We have saved the best until last as bedroom 3, which is on the top floor, has the most amazing outlook across to France and Dungeness. Imagine getting up in the morning and opening the curtains to a wonderful panorama; no matter how tired you feel this is bound to put a smile on your face.
Modern homes can be criticised for not having enough storage space, well not this one, as there is a huge store room measuring 17’ x 7’11. This could be used as an office or you could even convert it into a cinema room, which would be great if you are a movie buff.
The back garden is small, low maintenance patio area, which will give you more time to enjoy this stunning location.
What the Owner says:
We have lived in this house for ten very happy years and it has been the perfect place for our three children to grow up, as we are only a short walk away from the seafront and the Royal Military Canal.
We have all enjoyed many bike rides into Hythe and on a sunny day the beach is a great place to have a picnic. If you want to take full advantage of being by the sea, we are very close to the kayak club and there is a sailing club in Hythe.
My husband commutes to London and he gets the fast train from Folkestone West, door to door it only takes him about an hour.
