Property description
This is an established family home offering a wealth of space for everyone. Location sits within the Churchfields school catchment and it's also possible to walk to South Woodford station for your daily commute into the City.
By road you can access the North Circular in a matter of minutes, so your shopping trip to Westfields can be a regular occurrence.
This is a Victorian terrace property which means you get the high ceilings and the spacious rooms. The addition of the kitchen/breakfast area at the rear creates a welcoming space and is certainly the heart of the home when any family meal can be cooked and enjoyed.
The current owners have added a master bedroom into the loft and I think that the Juliet Balcony is a fantastic feature that lets the natural sunlight flood in.
The dressing area and the en suite are the finishing touches that would make a Sunday lay in a perfect way to end the week.
The large private rear garden gives plenty of room for the children to play and for the adults to entertain. This is a very bright property and at the same time feels like a very calm home. I think there is some real versatility for families as the front lounge looks like a fabulous place to cosy up throughout the seasons in the evening, whilst the large room at the rear would be great for family occasions and gatherings.
What the Owner says:
We have enjoyed a very good 7 years in this property. We were first attracted to the house as it had a huge amount of living space and the fact it had the loft. I loved the garden and so do the children and the fact that there are so many green spaces nearby such as Roding Valley Park means that you can go on bike rides at the weekend as a family. The Churchfields school is incredibly popular and you can walk to the top of the road and over the bridge and literally be there. For commuters you can walk through the underpass and be at George Lane in 10-15 minutes. We added a new porch to the property, removed trees to the garden, double glazed the front and added the loft room, all in recent years. It is now time to move to a new property now.
