Property description

Novahomes Prestige Rame Peninsula are pleased to offer this stunning character cottage with the benefit of an additional studio apartment (a former tea room business currently used as a holiday let with possible further business potential). The property lies in the heart of Kingsand, in a conservation area, directly adjoining the water, overlooking the beach and commanding fascinating and panoramic views past the adjacent landmark Clock Tower, across the bay towards the twin village of Cawsand and Penlee Point.

This period property which is steeped in history briefly comprises a ground floor self contained modern studio apartment. Above in the main house there is a lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom, shower room and three further bedrooms. Benefitting from a balcony area to the rear providing a suitable space for al fresco dining, the property also comes with two storage areas and an outside WC. An internal viewing is strongly recommended.

The villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are equipped with a variety of local shops, pubs and restaurants together with a sailing club and other facilities. There are two car parks, the nearest being less than five minutes` walk away where annual permits can be applied for. The Rame Peninsula is relatively little known, often known as `Cornwall`s Forgotten Corner`, forming an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with quiet beaches and outlined by the South West Coastal Path. Tourists generally ignore this area in favour of the more popular areas to the west of Cornwall. The Mount Edgcumbe Park, an 800 acre area of coastal woodland and open hillsides, is possibly one of the most beautiful and varied locations of Cornwall, lies on the edge of the village.
