Property description
Location location location
This beautiful 4 bedroom Victorian home is located just a few minutes walk from Horsham’s Historic Carfax, so buyers will be hard pressed to find a property in a more central position. Not only do you have all the fantastic shops and restaurants literally on your doorstep you also are just a short walk along North Street to the mainline train station, where commuters can catch regular trains up to London. And if that is not enough, lazy weekend afternoons can be spent strolling along the numerous public footpaths at the nearby Chesworth Farm, take time to climb Denne Hill and look down on the town, it’s a great view isn’t it?
The property has been much improved by the owners and now boasts four bedrooms including a stunning master bedroom with it’s very own en-suite. On the ground floor you have a great size dining area, a very cosy lounge area with a lovely fireplace. The kitchen was replaced just a few years ago, it has been well cared for and still looks as good as new, keen cooks will be pleased to find an integrated double oven, microwave and hob, and a good size work top, making food preparation so much easier.
The rear garden has a raised deck that catches the afternoon sunshine whilst the up lights make a real feature when the sun goes down. The summer house is also included in the sale, the perfect place to sit back with a good book to enjoy the peace and quiet.
What the Owner says:
We moved here over 22 years ago, we were particularly drawn towards the central location and also the potential the property had. We knew that we could move a few things around to make better use of the space and that the property could grow over the years along with our family.
We moved the bathroom downstairs, leaving a cloakroom on the first floor whilst creating another bedroom. We also more recently converted the loft space into now what is the master bedroom and en-suite bathroom, I would have to say it’s my favourite room in the house, my very own peaceful retreat.
