Property description
If location is all important, if you need easy access to a station with commuter services to London yet a quiet, safe environment for the family, this is a house you mustn’t miss.
Pretty and secluded, as soon as you walk in you can see this is a home designed with the family in mind. A good sized lounge offers plenty of space for you to spend relaxing evenings together sharing tea, stories and the news of the day.
But the star attractions here are the conservatories – one to the side, currently serving as a dining room, and another to the back of the house, which is ideal for making the most of the long summer days. If you’re hosting a party, throw open the doors and let your guests spill out into the garden. As the barbecue sizzles, this will be an evening of joy and wonderful memories.
As night falls and bedtime approaches, tuck the children up in their first floor bedrooms then head up to the second floor to the haven of your own where you’ll be guaranteed a tranquil night’s rest.
Wake to a peaceful morning and take a gentle stroll to the farm shop in the centre of the village for some fresh, local produce. Or take a stroll through the surrounding countryside. It would be hard to find a more perfect location.
What the Owner says:
We've lived in this house for 16 years and it has been a great family home. We extended the property 7 years ago, adding a conservatory and converting the loft. We've enjoyed the countryside walks through the orchards and fields just a few minutes' walk away from the front door and bike riding at the nearby Bedgebury forest.
Marden village has a useful range of shops and amenities, including a good medical centre and commuter line. The seaside is only an hour's drive away.
We hope the next owners will love this house as we have over the years.
