Property description
This is without doubt one of those properties that delivers on so many levels that mere words just cannot do it justice. When we talk about location, location, location, as being one of the most important things when buying a property, well this house certainly ticks that box and offers so much more.
The uninterrupted panoramic views of the North Downs to the rear are truly stunning and the decked sun terrace is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy those views.
Then imagine being able to walk out of your house and turn left to Penenden Heath where you can spend quality time with your children, walk the dog or enjoy a drink and a meal in the Bull Inn hostelry. Or, perhaps you would prefer to turn right and take a pleasant stroll to the River Medway where you can enjoy a walk along the riverbank and take in the views of the boats and wildlife and again, treat yourself to a meal and a drink in the popular Malta Inn.
Whether you are a jogger, cyclist or simply enjoy walking, there are a wealth of routes literally on your doorstep.
Then you have the house itself which is a fine example of a spacious home which has been a labour of love by the present owners to provide spacious family friendly accommodation.
What the Owner says:
We feel it was fate that we should buy this house, we used to come from London to visit an uncle when he lived next door and we always loved the location, especially the views and the open spaces close by.
So, when this house came on to the market we knew we had to have it. It was built in 1932 and was literally in its original condition but we could see enormous potential and have spent the last ten years making the house our own.
We have three sons who all attended the local primary school which is within walking distance and having added a bedroom and en-suite shower room in the loft, they all had their own bedrooms.
