Property description
Calling all families…your property search ends here, as we have this ideal, recently extended and refurbished home, located in the heart of the popular county town of Lewes.
You will immediately notice the light and spacious open plan rooms. The sitting and dining areas make great spaces to entertain family and friends a like.
While you prepare the evening meal in the recently refitted, contemporary kitchen/breakfast room, keep an eye on the children whilst they complete their homework, then gather around the table for dinner. This house makes it easy to interact and spend quality time together. There is also space for a study, if working from home is a necessity.
Two double bedrooms and a shower room downstairs is handy for teenagers to have their own space, is ideal accommodation for dependant relatives or has potential for creating addition income.
Lewes boast a wealth of history and is situated in the recently formed South Downs National Park, offering easy access to the coast and countryside. The mixture of independent and High Street shops, cafes, restaurants and traditional public houses make a pleasant evening or weekend out and the mainline train station provides direct links to London and Brighton, or East along the coast.
What the Owner says:
When we first moved to the property it required a lot of refurbishment. We have enjoyed creating what we think is a really comfortable home. We wanted downstairs bedrooms as we had an elderly relative living with us at the time and the location has been handy for the children being able to walk to school. We have never grown out of the space available and you never feel as though you are on top of each other, yet it provides a warm and welcoming home to come back to in the evenings after a long day at work. We have an exciting opportunity to relocate abroad through our work but are certain the new owner(s) will enjoy living here and create a great lifestyle for themselves as much as we have.
