We bought this house in 1978 and immediately fell in love with its character and have been very happy here.
It is a great location where you can walk to the town centre and station in no time at all and there are good schools within a five minute walk. Immediately behind the house is a field which is great if you have a dog that needs walking or children who fancy a kick about with their friends.
We extended the house, including the loft, soon after we moved in to make an extra bedroom, which is a really light and bright room. We also made the bathroom and one of the bedrooms bigger so that there is no "box" room. We added a breakfast room and a conservatory which is a lovely place to relax or could be used as a more formal dining room.
