Property description
This lovely home takes you back to an age gone by. The woodland views to the front may have come straight out of the pictures of a story book.
The generously sized dining area is perfect for laying up the table with your best cutlery and china when you host formal dinner parties for friends, whilst the spacious, light and airy conservatory, overlooking the garden, pond and summer house, provides the ideal environment for less formal dining or for simply relaxing and enjoying the view. Or retire to the lounge area, where the luxury of the wood burner creates a cosy feel. Lie back and listen to the crackle of the logs as the light of the flames plays a dance across the floor. Equally, this is the perfect homely space for you to sit together for some quality family time, the children doing their homework perhaps while you relax with a good book.
Keen gardeners will fall in love with the grounds at the back of the house. With a rural view over fields beyond, the garden is sunny all day. The attractions of a large fish pond with ornamental bridge leading to a delightful summer house may mean that the vegetables and flowers have to learn to take care of themselves! You could use the greenhouse/potting shed to provide fresh produce for the family, storing all your garden tools in the two lockable sheds. The workshop, with professionally installed electric lighting and sockets, will provide ample space for all your D-I-Y activities.
What the Owner says:
We fell in love with this house and garden when we first saw them, and made an offer the same day. Since then, not a day has passed when we have not rejoiced at that decision. With friendly, helpful neighbours and a quiet, peaceful and safe neighbourhood, this has truly been Heaven on earth. The garden was lovingly designed and created by the former owners, and it has been an enormous pleasure to maintain and develop it to a standard of which we hope they would approve. The conservatory provides the ideal location from which to admire the view and to watch the countless wild birds that come here to feed and bathe. Summer seems to go on for so much longer when you can still enjoy the outdoors from the warmth of the house!
