We have lived in this property for over thirty years and have always been local to the area. We chose this house specifically for the schools as both St. Johns and Buckhurst Hill Primary schools are fantastic and provided a solid education for our children. The house was originally in a terrible state when we bought it and over the years we have refurbished everything including a double storey extension to the rear. We replaced the boiler a few years ago and also the windows. We know you can further extend if you wanted but we found we had enough space for our family. We even have an original feature of an Air Raid Shelter in the garden, which can be easily removed should somebody want to, but we thought it was a nice bit of history which comes with the house.
