Property description
Relax on the sofa with a much needed cup of tea for a five minute break with the conservatory doors open, listening to the sound of the children playing in the garden and enjoying the breeze strolling through the house gently keeping it cool on a summer's day. This is your opportunity to catch up on your favourite "soap" or flick through the Sunday paper.
The bedrooms are generous in size and, as the main bedroom is at the top of the property, it is the size of the entire upstairs taking into consideration the eves but with the Velux roof light it feels bright and spacious. On the middle floor there are another 2 double bedrooms along with a single meaning that there may be less argument over who gets which room. The front bedroom has bay windows, the same as the lounge, creating extra space and a characteristic feature of a property built in this era.
The garden is sunny and tranquil and not overlooked at the rear so pop out the loungers and paddling pool for the children and relax on a warm summer's day.
The property is located just off the popular Singlewell Road area with an array of amenities. Within a short walk there is a parade of shops including a convenience store and a bakery for a freshly baked loaf of crusty bread for the family's bacon sandwiches. The town centre is local for the railway station and, for those days that you wish to leave the car at home, there are bus stops on the main road ready to whisk you away for the day.
What the Owner says:
We have lived here for a number of years and have grown as a family along with the house.
We are situated at the end of the terrace and have found it very peaceful. The driveway leads down the side of the garage and there are parking spaces at the end of the garden. There is enough room for about three cars on the driveway and, with power and light in the garage, it could easily be used as a workshop.
We are now looking to relocate and, perhaps, buy something a little smaller as it is just the two of us now. We hope that the next owners will have as many happy memories here as we have had.
