What first attracted us to this house was its proximity to the railway station. It is the ideal location for commuters as it is within an easy walk. As well as the station there are schools nearby, including the girls grammar school and, in fact, we back on to its playing field which, as well as giving us a nice outlook, helps make our garden private and secluded.
Although there is no off road parking, as is often the case with period houses, you can purchase a permit for the residents parking bay from the local council for a nominal amount.
It needed quite a bit of updating so we have worked hard to create, what we feel is a good size family home with original features yet has all the benefits of modern living.
