Property description

If its a family home you are looking for then this house has to be it! As soon as you step through the door there is a warm and inviting feel. With remaining character too, you can cosy up in the living room with the working fireplace roaring with warmth.

On a sizeable plot at the end of the terrace, you have large room dimensions. Although the house is already spacious, you could also seek necessary consents and extend the ground floor even further. The garden is triangular in size which means there is more of a lawned area than is usual for this part of town. The patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun, open to all aspects, we hear it's a true sun trap. Side access is also handy for bikes. The off street parking for two cars is also a massive benefit for modern, family life.

Many move to the area to take advantage of the fantastic schooling for all ages. There is even a cut through to Balfour - Varndean and Dorothy Stringer are also a short walk away. At the end of the road you'll find a superb range of shops such as delicatessens, bakery and a green grocers. There is an endless supply of fresh, local produce for us who like the better things in life.

Transport links are also fantastic, not only the centre of Brighton is easy to get to by bus or even by foot but by car you can be on the A23/A27 in moments and there are also local mainline stations within easy reach for those commuting.

What the Owner says:

This has been a fantastic house to raise our children and we will be sad to leave it.
The house immediately attracted us when we first saw it due to the garden being bigger than most in the area. The kids love running around in it and there's even space for a playhouse!

We have added huge benefits to the house over the years. The loft room and en-suite has become a spacious master bedroom (our sanctuary!). The large second bedroom is also a great room and social space for our teenager.

Having not just one but two parking spaces is like gold-dust in Brighton coming home from work and not having to search for space is a real luxury.
