A terrace leads around the property providing a wonderful entertaining area with an array of well stocked raised beds and borders. A weaving pathway (which can be used for vehicular access) leads through the gardens and woodland to the paddocks where there is hard standing for several timber framed outbuildings. The paddocks enjoy wonderful views of the South Downs with footpaths and bridleways to explore the surrounding countryside.A second driveway leads to a detached stone built outbuilding used as a double garage with bedroom and shower room above. The property is steeped in history and has been the subject of a sketch by by Constable in the days of the working mill.
