Property description
This beautiful modern home is perfect for those families looking for space. Internally this property has been very well looked after, offering a comfortable light and airy lounge which leads out into the lovely conservatory. This then connects not only the dining area but also leads through into the kitchen and breakfast areas allowing great connecting family living.
The kitchen area is very well fitted offering an abundance of cupboard space, and the breakfast bar towards the rear gives the children somewhere to eat although there is plenty of room for a table as well. The current owners have put in French doors which lead out to the patio which is a very pleasant addition. Off of the kitchen area you will find a utility area with storage perfect for those muddy wellies when walking the dog. Also on the ground floor you have a cloakroom as well as a study, so there is more than enough room for all.
On the first floor, you have a gorgeous galleried landing which gives you a view through the glass front towards Brading Down, allowing this space to be very light and bright. From here you will find bedroom one which has a very nice range of fitted wardrobes and cupboards as well as a well fitted modern en-suite shower room. This room also looks to the rear of the home which has a nice rural outlook.
There are three other double bedrooms plus a generous family bathroom so family or friends have space to stay.
Externally, you have a very handy double garage plus ample parking on the driveway to the front. The side then leads you round to the rear of the home where you find a fantastic sized rear garden and those who enjoy gardening will be able to create what ever style of area they wish.
Any families looking for a beautiful garden, this would be the perfect playground for the children, with a back drop of trees and fields, this quiet spot is one not to be missed.
What the Owner says:
When we moved from the mainland in 2013, our priorities were: a property that would accommodate ourselves and our daughter and family; access to a good primary school; a place that wasn’t too far from the sea and, hopefully, would allow some countryside walking. Luckily this property met all our requirements. The second bedroom has been a particular bonus as it has provided a good sized space along with a dressing area which has been used more recently as a sitting area for our daughter’s family, allowing them to have some family time whenever they wanted, but it would also be great for teenagers whilst entertaining friends or visitors who have come to stay.
Although we are slightly inland, we can still be at the sea or in Newport within a short driving time, but if you don’t fancy driving, there is always the bus.
The garden has been another attraction – lawn and borders near the house, good for barbeques and enjoying the evening sun, and plenty of space for the children to play and explore in the wooded areas. Watching the red squirrels foraging in the mornings has also been an amusing treat.
We have often enjoyed strolling in the adjoining private woodland and if we have wanted more adventure then Borth Wood is close by.
We have all enjoyed living here and will be sad to leave, but our daughter and family will soon be moving into their own property on the Island and this has meant it is time for us to re-evaluate our needs.
