We moved here about 14 years ago and have enjoyed every minute. We fell in love with the property the moment we saw it. We are a military family and have been used to moving every couple of years, so the concept of having a settled home meant something really special. During the time we have been here we have been delighted to upgrade the house and make it our own and it has been wonderful to be able to see our grandchildren playing in the garden. It is very peaceful and safe as the lane leads to fields so there is very little traffic, which makes it a great area for walking the dogs. In fact there are numerous country walks we can enjoy such as the parks adjacent to nearby Kearsney Abbey and the local nature reserve offers wonderful opportunities to view rare wildlife species. We are in an excellent position as we are central for Dover and
Canterbury but, at the same time, we can enjoy the village life. We have very friendly neighbours and the village of Temple Ewell is a delight. There is a local grocery store and the family-friendly Fox Inn pub as well as a recently opened shop in Kearsney. There is an excellent primary school with an Outstanding Ofsted report and a village hall providing a wide variety of activities.
