Property description
*** VIRTUAL VIEWING TOUR *** A beautifully presented detached farmhouse currently set-up for dual occupancy (4 bed total) with over 8 acres of grazing land, stabling, barns and ménage AND a separate barn with permission to convert to a residential dwelling – huge potential for the money!
DESCRIPTION
Hasswells Farm is a Grade II listed farmhouse which is currently used as dual occupancy with two parts to the property operating independently to give a pair of 2 bedroom homes. This arrangement could of course be changed to use it as one house but it is particularly suited to this type of living. It is well located with views over the Raddon Hills and giving good access to Crediton/Tiverton and Exeter. The property is set back from a main road which should be seen as a positive with rural living being available without the small country lanes.
The “Main House” has a character feel with a kitchen/breakfast room, a living room with wood-burner, a study, boot room/utility and a garden room which opens out onto the rear garden. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (master en-suite) and a family bathroom.
“The Wing” is more open plan with a larger kitchen/living room with doors opening to outside. There is a connecting hall to access the main house, a spacious landing, two bedrooms and a shower room.
Outside, the property enjoys its own driveway in from the highway and it is worth nothing that although the property sits adjacent to the road, its elevated position and planting goes someway to disguise the proximity to the road and in fact offers excellent links to Crediton, Tiverton and Exeter. The land surrounds the house and in total the gardens and grazing paddocks extend to over 8 acres. There is a ménage, large stabling barn and storage making it a very attractive equestrian proposition.
