OWNERS COMMENTS Having lived in Cowes for 20 years, we decided we wanted to be more 'country based' and were looking for a property with fabulous country views and access to plentiful walks for our dogs. We wanted to be close to a bustling town but felt our desired list maybe too long and specific. However when we came across Barberry we were thrilled that the property offered everything we were looking for. Not only is it close to busy Yarmouth with its shops, boutiques and Island transport links to the mainland, it is equally close to the beautiful Downs of the Isle of Wight which offer plentiful walks for the dogs, cycling and fabulous bridal paths. The property is spacious, warm and very cosy in the winter. It has an adequate (easy to maintain) garden that boasts panoramic views of the luscious Isle of Wight Downs providing stunning sunsets. It is an incredibly peaceful and quiet haven. It is also worth noting that it would also make a wonderful family home with the highly acclaimed Shalfleet Primary School 0.6 mile away. We have now decided it is time to downsize and return to our roots of Ventnor.
