When we moved into this home in Dec 2006, we immediately set about putting our own mark on the property and the garden so December and the months that followed for us were very busy. The end result has been a happy and rewarding one.

When searching for a new home, the proximity was very important. i.e. close to the shops, the bus stop and close enough to walk into town for exercise. The bus stop is right at our door which has been wonderful for us and for our family who constantly visit us from various parts of the world. This meant that they could be independent of us if they needed to do their own thing.

We have only one neighbour directly beside us and they are delightful people. Very friendly and would always help in anyway if asked but do not live in our pockets. Neighbours directly behind are also friendly, in the same way as our other neighbours.

For us, this has been a very happy home. All who have been here have commented on the fact that it has a warm and peaceful atmosphere. When working on the home, our plan was always to make it very comfortable and convenient for ourselves, plus guests and family. I feel we achieved this so will be very sad to leave it all.
