The village is well served by local regular buses to Crediton and Exeter and is 3 miles from Morchard Road station on the Barnstaple to Exeter Tarka line.  It has an attractive mixture of old thatched cottages and modern houses with amenities such as the parish church, primary school, Doctors Surgery, shop/post office, garage and London Inn.  There is also a sports club, tennis court, village hall and a bowling green.

DIRECTIONS  On entering the village from the A377 Crediton to Barnstaple road, proceed up Polson Hill and take a left turn into a lane marked Private Road and opposite the grass triangle (seen on the right). Westbrook is the 2nd property on the left.
